My generation is a vainglorious one, so when I wanted to get better and more creative about my wardrobe, I created a blog.

I’ve been sewing since I was a kid and have a mother who sews as well. At the moment I attend a Social Sewing circle once a month, and would like to continue to make some space for sewing in my life.

I’m also trying to be less deeply lazy about my sewing, and stop doing a half-arsed job of things. This means trimming threads as I go (much better about this) and sewing proper blind hems by hand (at least most of the time) rather than just running the machine over it.
